These Easy Steak Bites are a quick, flavorful way to enjoy tender, juicy steak in minutes. Perfectly seasoned and seared to perfection, these bite-sized morsels are ideal for busy weeknights, appetizers, or meal prep. Paired with your favorite dipping sauce or served alongside roasted veggies, they’re a versatile and satisfying dish that’s sure to impress.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound sirloin or ribeye steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil (divided)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Steak: Pat the steak cubes dry with paper towels to ensure a good sear. In a small bowl, mix together the garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Sprinkle the seasoning blend evenly over the steak cubes, tossing them gently to coat.

  2. Sear the Steak: Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once the oil is shimmering, add half of the steak bites in a single layer, leaving space between each piece. Sear for 2-3 minutes, turning occasionally with tongs, until browned on all sides and cooked to your desired doneness. Remove the first batch and set aside. Repeat with the remaining tablespoon of olive oil and steak bites.

  3. Add Flavor: Reduce the heat to medium and add the butter to the skillet. Once melted, stir in the minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds, until fragrant. Return all the steak bites to the skillet, tossing them in the garlic butter to coat evenly. Cook for an additional 1 minute to meld the flavors.

  4. Garnish and Serve: Transfer the steak bites to a serving plate and sprinkle with fresh parsley for a pop of color and freshness. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce, such as chimichurri, horseradish cream, or a simple mustard aioli.

Notes

  • These Steak Bites are incredibly versatile and can be customized with different seasonings, such as Cajun spices or Italian herbs.
  • For a low-carb option, serve them over a bed of sautéed spinach or cauliflower rice.
  • Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days and reheated in a skillet to maintain texture.
